Committee Update Reports

Decorating –  Suzanne relayed that things are going well. Still getting 9-15 people out for meetings. Awaiting warmer weather so spray painting can be done outside or in a garage.

Discussed the storage room move and clean up. School will let us know when things need to be moved and they do have alternate space planned. AS there are finished product now stored in the room we need to be on site when they are going to move stuff to keep it safe

Coffee house – Looks like we have about $1700 from coffee house with a few incidental bills to be paid should end up with $1500 profit. It was noted that although money raised is down a bit the item was well received and actually very successful with the number of other things that were going on that night.

Designated Driver Program –  One drive in the past couple of weeks for $150 plus some tips still coming in. So far have 2 booked for April and 2 tentative for July with one a wedding and the other part of the “Hog and Rod” for Moose-fest.

We are going to need the names of summer drivers for Safe grad as most grade 12s will not likely be available

Entertainment – Heather not available but she sent a note indicating that contracts for the games and music are in and will be paid this week.

Fund Raising – Looks like the net for the draw will be in the neighbourhood of $7200. Excellent fundraiser and a lot of work. Elizabeth ahs submitted a report with some recommendations for next year.

Food – No report. Too early but not anticipating any problems

Prize Patrol – Donations. Total of $200 so far. Received a cheque from NB Office for scrap booking donation. Donations still coming in.

Miscellaneous Items

  • Still need a volunteer coordinator for Safe Grad night. Terry Gadd has volunteered for this

  • Also looking for a volunteer auctioneer. Mike Ebbling did this last year and enjoyed it so will approach him.
