Miscellaneous Items
There was again a
question regarding Safe Grad Points and if a business donates cash can they
collect points on a students behalf. Answer was that a business will get a tax
receipt and that there is no provision for SG points.
Safe Grad Points System
There was an
explanation on Grad points vrs Volunteer hours. You can only collect grad
points at a Safe Grad activity. In order for an activity to be a Safe Grad
activity it has to be recognized by the committee. Also a student must fill
their volunteer hours before they can collect grad points.
Points are awarded
for various activities.
Examples are
Attending a Safe
Grad Meeting – 2 points
Baking for a sale
or the coffee house – 3 points
Designated Driver
