My name is Tanya Wintle and I'm from Niagara Falls. I am currently at the University of Guelph studying Environmental Engineering. My father is Garth Wintle (from Niagara Falls as well) and his parents are Isabelle and Ansel Wintle. I just started researching my family history and I have no idea where to begin, so if anyone has any advice or info for me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :)

Shame! I would really like to go further back but of course have never had the time. Are there any of the wintle clan in the Melbourne are to possibly contact I wonder ? Regards Johnnie Wintle

I am listed in the Wintle Australia page and now have a new E-Mail address. Your site is great, and very interesting to see so many Wintle's around the world. Our anscestors must of had a lot of spirit to move away from the home country and settle far away. I know that I very much admire my parents who sold everything in 1962 to move from UK to Australia, mainly to give their sons a better life-which they did. I think it is the Viking blood.
Keep up the good work. Thank you.

Great page Garth!!! I'm a Drydenite myself. In fact on of a set of twins who were born there. Nice to see a page that covers alot of what Dryden is all about. A creative suggestion though... how 'bout a link to the Dryden Observer for those of us trying to keep up on what's
happening.

Hello, there just happen to come across your site when looking for something for my husband, Gary. Since he is a big fan of Dryden I thought I would put my two cents in for him too. I was looking for Bill Higgins of Sandy Point Camp/Resort just to say hi to him from my husband. I think his son runs the place and dad has retired. My husband goes to this camp every year (sometimes two times) for about the last 25 years. I was up there in 1976 but I am kind of hooked on shopping over fishing so I haven't been back to the area. So if you see anyone from Sandy Point Camp, pass on a hi for us. I also happen to be in the fire business sort of, I am a police and fire dispatcher and I get to tell everyone to go. Nice talking to ya.

Hi! Iam not part of your family tree, but I was born in Dryden at the end of May or early June 1957. My birth was Leanne but I do not know if my mother registered in the hospital or if she had me at home her name was Therese Regimbald. My suppossed father was Andre or Andy Patient. I have tried before to get info but I seem to get nowhere I would like to know if there is an archive department with the Dryden Hospital or how coul go about finding some type
of birth record. I am adopted an it is very hard to get any type of information. I am not looking for my birth mother I have no interest in meeting her so any type of info that
would be avaible to even if they black out her name I dont care. If you have any suggestion please let me know. Thank you in advance Liliane Patient

Hey Mr. Wintle! It was by a lovely accident that I came apon your page. Let me tell you all about it, as you appear to welcome additions to your guestbook! I was just, ho-hum, searching the Internet in quest for the perfect neat and nifty tidbit on the hometown dwelling of my two favorite NHL players, Sean and Chris Pronger. Woah doggies! Then I arrived at your
page! Aye, an epidemic of Dryden facts! I've looked up Dryden before, many months past to be exact, and was woefully disappointed. Nothing, spit, nada, capoot. You can't help but
imagine my utter shock and excitement when I found the valley of which mists your Dryden knowledge! Look-it, you've got some great stuff here. You're on a roll. Add more to this! This is what the PEOPLE want to see! I never knew Dryden came about as a gold town. Information as such is exactly what I seek! To my delight I've come to learn much more about your lovely area than I could have imagined all within the boundries of these here pages! And it is nice to know where to get some good, fruitful fishing done, you know? Not that I fish or anything but if I ever wanted to you've made quite the case for Dryden so I'll keep an open mind if I ever make it up to Canada and have remembered to pack my waitors! The next time my Pronger surfing magically runs smack-dab into your corner of the Net, I hope to to be rewarded with yet more exciting facts about Dryden! Carry on with your good research! Find pride in that your hard work has been noted and applauded by this St. Louis area gal! Thanks for the info, go
Blues, and party on, Garth!
